CANADIAN COMIC BOOK PRICES: EXPLANATION AND POLICY

The Canadian Dollar changes value regularly in relation to our neighbour's currency.

What you may not know is that we are invoiced by our US based distributor in US dollars.  In order to remain in business, we need to charge an exchange rate based on what we are charged or we lose too much money. It is an unfortunate reality.

Thanks to the wonders of technology, when it concerns our website and recently now the store as well, the system checks the current exchange rate automatically every hour and applies it to items for the day.   So in theory, the website has the most current, accurate pricing we can generate.  

However, it may mean that the price might differ slightly from what you get in store for American products, since, as the dollar fluctuates, our prices will go up and down, from hour to hour, in store and on the website, from day to day.

We’re very sorry that we have to do this, but it’s the only fair thing to do with the fluctuations on the dollar, and the fact that we have to remain profitable in order to stay open.
