Price starts at $75$ an hour for the room.

PRICE WITH FOOD

PRICE CONTAINS ALL THE ELEMENTS OF BASIC PRICING PLUS:

  • Please consider around $25 per person for complete meal (LUNCH OR DINER).  BAr service not included.
PRICE WITH BAR & STAFF

FOR BAR STAFF, please add an additional $75 per block of four hours.  If you want food as well, this is on top of the food fee.

PRICE WITH STAGE & MICROPHONES

Please add an flat fee of $250 for installation and deinstallation as well as microphone checks and lighting programming for the show.

BOOKING PROCESS & POLICIES

Booking & Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm any booking.

  • The deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days before the event.

  • Between 30 and 15 days before the event, 25% of the deposit is refundable.

  • No refunds for cancellations made less than 15 days before the event.

  • Bookings made within 15 days of the event must be paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

  • If a deposit was made, the remaining 50% balance is due on the event day, prior to the event start.

Time Management

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, the time lost will count as rented time—our staff is scheduled accordingly, and this is non-negotiable.

  • Extensions: If you extend your event hours on the day of the event, full payment for the extension is required immediately upon agreement.

Food & Allergy Requirements

  • If you choose a food package, we require a complete list of allergies and dietary restrictions for all guests at least 15 days before the event.

Code of Conduct

  • We reserve the right to expel or refuse entry to any guests who do not follow our space rules.

  • Smoking & Vaping: Absolutely prohibited anywhere on the premises—indoors or outdoors.

  • Restricted Areas: Only Zone Z employees are allowed behind the bar and in the kitchen areas (both indoor and outdoor).

Terrace & Event Hours

  • Commercial activities on the terrace must end by 10 PM.

  • Guests may continue their gathering inside until 3 AM.

Cleaning & Damage Policy

  • Standard cleaning is included unless excessive mess is left.

  • A $500 surcharge will apply if the space is left in a state deemed beyond acceptable cleanliness.

Noise & Music Regulations

  • If live music or amplified sound is part of the event, it must comply with local noise ordinances.

  • Any DJ or live performance setup must be approved in advance to ensure compatibility with the venue.

  • Bass-heavy or excessively loud music must be reduced upon request to avoid complaints.

Event Setup & Decorations

  • No nails, screws, or permanent adhesives can be used to attach decorations to walls or ceilings.

  • Any confetti, glitter, or similar materials must be pre-approved—extra cleaning fees may apply.

  • Candles and open flames are prohibited, except for birthday cakes or specific approved setups.

Liability & Security

  • The renter is fully responsible for any damage to the property, furniture, or equipment during the event.

  • If alcohol is served, the renter must ensure responsible consumption—Zone Z is not liable for overconsumption-related incidents.

  • Any theft or loss of personal property is the responsibility of the event host and guests.

Guest Conduct & Capacity

  • The maximum guest capacity must be respected at all times—exceeding it may result in immediate event termination.

  • If a security presence is required, it must be arranged in advance at the renter’s expense.

  • Aggressive or disruptive behavior will lead to immediate removal from the premises.

Emergency Procedures

  • The renter must ensure all guests are aware of emergency exits and safety procedures.

  • In case of an emergency (fire, injury, etc.), staff instructions must be followed without delay.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By paying a deposit or full booking amount, the renter automatically agrees to all rules and regulations stated in this document.

Force Majeure Clause

  • If an event cannot proceed due to natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions, or other force majeure events, Zone Z reserves the right to reschedule or issue a credit instead of a refund.

  • Zone Z is not responsible for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control.

Alcohol & Beverage Policy

  • BYOB is no longer permitted.

  • If alcohol is served, it must be provided and managed by Zone Z in compliance with legal regulations.

  • Renters assume full responsibility for ensuring all guests comply with legal drinking age requirements.

Event Insurance Recommendation

  • While not mandatory, renters are encouraged to obtain event insurance to cover accidents, damages, or liability claims that may arise.

  • Zone Z reserves the right to require event insurance for certain event types (e.g., large corporate gatherings, high-risk activities).

Parking & Transportation

  • Parking availability is limited; guests are encouraged to use public transportation or ride-sharing services.

  • Nearest public transit stops will be provided upon request.

  • Guests using ride-share services should be dropped off at designated areas to avoid congestion.

Photography & Media Policy

  • Zone Z staff or approved photographers may take photos/videos for marketing purposes during events.

  • If renters or guests prefer not to be photographed, they must notify Zone Z in advance.

  • No unauthorized professional photography or filming is permitted without prior approval.

What are the setup and cleanup policies, and is there staff available to assist?

Unless you leave the place a major mess, we usually include the cleaning fees in the rental fee and we assist you at wrap up time.  However, if you leave the place in a disorderly state that goes above what is normally acceptable, a $500 fee must be paid immediately on the premise.

What are the rental rates, and do you offer discounts for extended bookings?

The room p[ricing starts at 75$ an hour.  Price increases with optiions your might select, incleading food, bar service, etc.  Rental of 8 hours or more have discounted rates.  Same or the renting of several rooms.  Contact us for details.

What kind of lighting and AV equipment is available in the room?

We have a music activated laser lights system, a top of the line programmable LED light system.  We also have 8 projectors.  ON request and for a fee, we can install TVs. computers, including laptops.

Is outside catering allowed, and are there any restrictions on food and drinks?

We no longer accept outside foods or drinks, unless you bring in your own MAPAQ certified caterer.  For alcoholic drinks, you need to come upo with your own reunion permit.

What is the maximum capacity for seated and standing events?

35 for sitting (including the bar), 44 for standing (with 8 people sitting at the bar).
