Join author Mel Gosselin and entomologist Kayla Landry for the launch and signing of Mortal Stalker, an illustrated novel inspired by mangas. A big fan of manga herself, Mel Gosselin has drawn from the Japanese "light novel" concept to craft an enthralling story set in a world where 18% of the global population is born "arthropodian," meaning with insect-like characteristics.

SYNOPSIS: Luk, a 16-year-old geeky and shy teen, is too preoccupied with his upcoming weekend at Montreal Comiccon to care about the plight of the "arthropodians." However, when a scorpion tail suddenly sprouts from his head, his life turns upside down. His transformation exposes him to many dangers until he meets a businessman nicknamed "the Astronaut" who wishes to recruit him for the Orion Program, aimed at proving the value of arthropodians in society.
